Boys and Girls Club of Dayton 2024 Charitable Fundraiser

Rick has been a dedicated member and volunteer of the Greater Cincinnati Boys & Girls Club for many years and currently serves as the Co-Chairman of the Board of Directors. Louis Foods shares Rick’s commitment to supporting local youth, actively contributing to the community through a variety of programs and charitable events throughout the year. 

Uncle Lou’s Gives Back 2023 Donation to Feeding America

Louis Foods, owned by Lou's sons, are proud of their partnership with Kroger and Feeding America, the largest charity working to end hunger in the US. On behalf of Kroger, we presented a $15,000 check to Feeding America at a Kroger Marketplace store in Independence, KY, which went to 17 food banks across the US to help families in need.

Uncle Lou’s Gives Back Donation Awards College Scholarship 

 Since the passing of “Uncle Lou” in 2021, Louis Foods continues to see Uncle Lou’s impact on customers through the “Give Back” program. His two sons, Rick and Rob Rothhaas co-owners of Louis Foods, have founded a scholarship in their parents name, Louis and Suzanne Rothhaas, endowed to the Evans Scholars Foundation to award a full 4 year college scholarship to high achieving caddies with limited financial means. As an avid golfer, we can’t think of a better way to honor this amazing man and his family values than to help others obtain a dream of higher education. RIP Uncle Lou!
