All members of our team have owned brokerage or meat companies and can provide a unique level of experience ranging from retail, processing, product design, sales, and marketing.

Rick Rothaass
Owner/ President
Rick started working at the family butcher shop when he was 14. Aside from college and a short time in management at a fortune 500 company, he has been in the family meat business ever since. Rick ran the family butcher shop since 1985 and helped create Louis Foods in 1997. Having over 40 years in the business, Rick’s expertise is brand creation, costing, marketing and sales.

Rob Rothhaas
Owner/ Vice-President
Rob left a great position with a major consulting company to follow our family legacy and help create Louis Foods in 1997. Rob brings over 20 years of meat experience on top of his 9 years of consulting work in plants across the country. Rob's expertise is production and has helped with plant layout, technology, packaging and all other aspects of making a product work for the plant, retailer and consumer. Rob oversees all production as well as coordinating logistics so orders ship consistently on time.

Jerry Dyvig
Vice-President, Sales and Services
Jerry contributes 45 years of experience to Louis Foods. He brings a great knowledge of the industry from starting in the grocery business, owning his own food brokerage company, to sales director at Advance Pierre Foods. Jerry has a fantastic reputation and knows most of the meat and deli brokers as well as many customers in the business. He has been associated with Louis Foods for over 20 years and joined the company in 2013. He has been a tremendous addition and resource to the Louis Foods team.

Robbe Mehl
Vice-President, Sales and Product Development
Robbe brings 35 years of sales, marketing and product knowledge to our team. She has an expertise in fresh meat, packaged meat, deli and food service. Robbe owned her own brokerage firm and represented our company for a number of years. She most recently was working as a Regional Deli Sales Manager for Smithfield Foods, Robbe brings a wealth of knowledge, professionalism and experience to Louis Foods.

Molly Rothaass
Director of Business Development
After six years in the Tech and Artificial Intelligence industry, Molly returned to her roots by joining Louis Foods to carry on the family legacy. With a strong background in Business Development, Analytics, and Brand Strategy, she has brought fresh perspective and innovation to the company’s daily operations. Today, Molly oversees production scheduling and logistics, ensuring everything runs efficiently as Louis Foods continues to grow.
